Date and time:  November 28, 5:06 PM Weather:  partly cloudy skies throughout the day with crisp cold air, a very nice day. Air temperature:  41 degrees Length of day:  9 hours and 21 minutes, Sunrise - 7:52 A.M. Sunset - 5:13 P.M. Observations:  most of the plants are drooping and most of the leaves have fallen off of them. There were ducks down in the pond that had frozen over last week which shows that the water has been pretty cold and the ducks are able to be comfortable still. The grass is turning yellow and sort of dying ever since the snow last week and the snow may have cause the tall grass around the wetlands to lay down. The spot where the deer normally would lay in the tall grass seems to not be as played down as it had been past weeks, so it seems that the deer are laying down in different areas now. Also I noticed that near my plot of land, the bee hives that we have seem to be very quiet lately and I haven't seen many insects around at all because...

Date and time:  November , 4:37 P.M. Weather:  It has been cloudy and very cold (compared to before) all day, with light snow flurries randomly though the day, with minimal wind of about 6 mph. Air temperature:  36 degrees Length of day:  9 hours and 47 minutes , Sunrise- 7:35 A.M. Sunset- 5:22 P.M. Observations:  There is officially snow on the ground now! One thing I have notice though was the fact that many trees around still have their leaves and haven't shed them yet which usually happens before the first snow each year to most trees. The vegetation has decreased a lot over the past few months but what is surprising to me is that many of the little plants around and on the ground were still fully green and thriving this late in the year which I had never payed attention to before, and many of the other colors were gone because there weren't many leave left. Date and time: October 30, 2:34 P.M. Weather: sunny with clouds at the beginning of the day, and cloudy through the afternoon, with a very slight breeze. Air temperature: 63 degrees Length of day: 10 hours and 24 minutes , Sunrise- 8:16 A.M. Sunset- 6:40 P.M. Observations: One of the first things I noticed in my area was that after the leaves have changed and many of the leaves are on the ground that had fallen were crunchy and dry and not fresh fallen leaves like the pervious visit, another thing that I noticed was the plants around the edge on the pond are all dying or crumpling up in some kinda of way and the lily pads are all dead/dying as you can see in the video (which might not show up) and pictures, the days are starting to get very short and darker/cloudier, the deer that I have mentioned before have been moving around to different areas to lay as you can see in the pictures and lastly the insects seem to be completely gone because I wasn't able to hear any during my ...

Date and time: October 12, 5:46 P.M. Weather: cold, humid, very cloudy and rainy all day, with a slight breeze. Air temperature: 53 degrees Length of day: 11hrs and 13 minutes, Sunrise- 7:54 A.M. Sunset- 8:36 P.M. Observations: Almost every single tree is changing color and starting to lose it leaves! I have also started to notice that the vegetation in the pond is d ecreasing and changing color, because the lily pads seem to by dying (video) and there is barely any algae left on the surface of the pond, the lawn around the pond is filled with fallen leaves and the amounts are increasing as it gets colder out, in the past week we have had some visitors, I was not able to capture a picture of them but we currently have 2 sandhill cranes that have been visiting the pond area the past few days and the last time we saw them on our property was during the spring. Weather: cloudy, on and off rain through the end of the afternoon, and very windy Air temperature: 53 degrees Length of day: 11hr and 56 minutes, Sunrise- 7:37 A.M. Sunset- 7:33 P.M. Observations: It is starting to get colder outside with shorter days, one of the things that really stood out to me is how many insects were making noise and how much quieter they were down by the pond area today, the trees are starting to change in the slightest bit of colors showing the start of fall. As I was walking through the path by the pond I also noticed a spot on the tall grass shown in the second to last picture comparing to the last picture, there had been some deer that were in that spot laying down earlier because all of the grass was pushed down on one single large spot showing there were quite a few.
